MRC will be holding basketball skills clinics Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm beginning June 15 and running through the month of July. We will be drilling the fundamentals of basketball: footwork, ball-handling, shooting, defense, rebounding, and passing (to name just a few). We will also run structured scrimmages to help our girls get valuable live game experience where they can put their newly learned skills to work. The clinics are free of charge to girls between the ages of 7 and 10 who are current residents of San Francisco.
We look forward to helping the players in the MRC and San Francisco community become the best basketball players they can be. Bring a bottle of water, a great attitude, and be ready to ball!
Clinics will be held at our home base, Mission Recreation Center, at 2450 Harrison Street in San Francisco’s Mission District.
